Trecastell Hotel Re opening under Covid 19 Rules

The list below is for your, other guests and staff safety and wellbeing during your stay.

We will endeavour to make your stay as normal as possible in these restricted circumstances.

Things may take slightly longer due to the restrictions that we are allowed to open under, but would ask for your patience and understanding.

Should you find in the list below something that you feel unable or reluctant to adhere to then our hotel is not the place for you as these measures are to protect you and others.

 

  • If when you arrive at the hotel the main door is closed, then please ring the number on the door and we will be there to welcome you.  We will endeavour to have someone at reception as often as possible.

  • When entering the hotel, please use hand sanitiser provided and maintain social distancing.  Face masks are advised but not compulsory for using on the stairs and corridors. 

  • At reception you will be asked for card details that will be securely stored during your stay.  As per government guidelines, we will also ask you for details connected with “NHS Track and Trace”.  These will be stored for 21 days then destroyed and only made available to public health bodies and no one else.

  • We would ask that wherever possible that you have drinks and meals added to your room thus saving the need of multiple payments.  Should you wish to pay in cash, please let us know on check in.

  • Your room will not be serviced daily to save anyone having to enter your room.  Should you require anything, tea, coffee etc, then please let us know when returning your breakfast tray each morning.

  • You are requested to pre order your breakfast the night before to enable us to deliver each morning outside your room at 8.30.  Please stack your plates and cutlery tidily on the tray and return the tray to a collection table in the reception area along with any other waste to be placed in the 2 bins provided.

  • The bar and restaurant will not be open until we are allowed to do so.  When allowed to do so, we will be providing an evening meal from a limited menu.  Until then, menus for local take away services will be provided in your room for you to get delivered or to collect.  We will provide plates and cutlery for your convenience and these will be located on the table in the reception area.  We would ask that you bring these down to the reception table along with your breakfast tray each morning. 

  • We also have a varied selection of drinks available and these can be found on a drink’s menu in your room.  This service is available from 5pm -9pm each evening and orders can be placed by asking at reception or by ringing 01407 830651 and the drinks will be delivered outside your room and added to your room bill.

  • On checkout to settle your account, we will give you your booking in sheet that will have your card details on for you to dispose of yourself.

 

We understand that this situation is not ideal, but by you following the information provided above, we can all remain safe and be able to enjoy the relative freedom in this forever changing world we all live in.  These will change as restrictions are gradually eased and we would welcome any comments should we have missed something.
